A great looking lawn also includes healthy and thriving trees and shrubs. At Green Meadows Lawnscape, we offer pesticide and fungicide sprays to control a broad range of insect and disease problems. Mature trees and shrubs can add beauty, shade and value to your property, but as with any other living thing they need proper care to live and mature. Listed below is our tree and shrub care plan to keep your landscaping looking great:
Early Spring Preventative: Dormant Oil coats the trees and shrubs preventing a variety of insect eggs from being able to hatch.
Spring Blooming Stage Application: Application of Insecticide, Miticide, and Fungicide is applied to ensure the health of your landscape through the blooming stage of spring.
Early Summer Tree & Shrub Health Application: A combination of insecticide, miticide, and fungicide is applied to ensure continued health of your landscape as bagworms and insects begin to populate trees and shrubs.
Late Summer Application: This application is a combination of products that will control the infestation of the mature, leaf eating Japanese beetle and mites as they attempt to devastate your landscaping.
Pre-Winterization Treatment: Deep Root Fertilization is injected directly into the root system of your trees & shrubs. This application has a great benefit for healthier and stronger landscape the following season.
Grub infestations can have devastating consequences to lawns. Grub infestations can cause grass roots to die off, which can lead to dead patches of grass. Evidence of a grub infestation most often presents itself during the spring, late summer and fall months. If you suspect a grub infestation, Green Meadows Lawnscape will inspect the lawn and if their presence is found, we can utilize control measures to prevent further damage from occurring.
One of the most common complaints from home and business owners regarding landscape maintenance is controlling weeds. Even a few pesky weeds sticking out of sidewalks, driveways or in beds can cause the entire landscape to look unkempt. Green Meadows Lawnscape provides non-selective herbicide control for sidewalks, driveways and beds.
Core aeration is the process of removing small plugs from the lawn in order to create better air exchange between the soil and the atmosphere. This process has several benefits, including enhancing the strength of turf roots and improving fertilizer and water intake.
If you’ve ever looked at a golf course and wondered how the grass got to be so healthy and green, over seeding is your answer. Over seeding is the process of seeding on top of current grass in order to switch out turf types or to encourage new growth. Green Meadows Lawnscape’s experts will assess your lawn and help you determine the best course of action in achieving your vision.
Power raking, also sometimes referred to as “de-thatching” is the process of removing dead and decomposing grass. When too much dead or decomposing grass builds up in your lawn, it prevents proper fertilization and watering, along with potentially creating a pest or insect problem. Power raking helps your lawn continue to function at its best.
